tabSAM Fox
The SAM Fox Philosophy

The term SAM Fox was originally part of an aircraft call sign designating Special Air Missions (SAM) - Foreign (Fox). When combined with an aircraft's tail number, the call sign differentiated VIP missions from other military and civilian flights. Over time, "SAM Fox" took on special significance. Today it symbolizes an attitude of extraordinary professionalism and dedication to perfection - the primary objective of 89th Airlift Wing personnel.

SAM Fox Universal Truths

- Perfection is the standard
- Expertise matters
- Demand exceed capability
- Safe, comfortable, reliable, connected and protected are measures of our success
